After a successful career, he moved to the real estate industry in 1997 and began working with a national home builder in the Chicago market where he won several industry awards for sales production and in 1999 was named top sales performer for the company. Tripp's interest in Naples stemmed from spending several years visiting the area where his family had owned a home in Naples since 1989.
