Even though the holiday season is right around the corner, temperatures in Southwest Florida are just beginning to cool down. With the sun still shining and temperatures dropping slightly, November is the perfect month to get active outdoors. All month long, organizations throughout Naples host exciting races for runners and walkers alike that benefit causes across the Paradise Coast. Get the harvest season off to a running start with these fun races.

  1. Old Naples 10k — 1161 3rd St. S., Naples, FL 34102 | Nov 9
Take an early-morning jog through downtown in the Old Naples 10k. The 10k will begin bright and early at 7:30 am. Plus, bring the kids along for the KIDSCAN 2k Fun Run & Walk starting at 8 am. Get your exercise in for the day and support a great cause! Proceeds from this 10k will benefit the Cancer Alliance of Naples and the Garden of Hope and Courage. After the event, there will be family-friendly activities along Third Street South, and many surrounding restaurants will offer special promotions for racers.

  2. 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's — North Collier Regional Park 15000 Livingston Rd., Naples, FL 34109 | Nov 16
Alzheimer's is a tragic disease that impacts the lives of countless families. The 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer's brings the Naples community together to raise awareness and lead the way to a cure. Help the Alzheimer's Association in their battle against this disease by gathering a group of your family and friends to walk. Waterfront Home Maintenance Tips

Owning a waterfront home is a dream come true for many people in Southwest Florida. Whether you're living in your waterfront home full-time, taking care of your second home, or managing your investment property, maintenance is crucial. Our real estate agents know what it takes to maintain a waterfront home, and we've got some tips to help you take care of your own dream home.

  • Make Cleaning a Regular Priority
    Naples homes for sale
include an amazing selection of waterfront properties, and if you choose a home on the waterfront, it's important to make cleaning a priority. Exposure to the saltwater elements can cause issues outdoors if you don't keep up with cleaning, and sand will often be carried indoors after your adventures on the waterfront. As long as you clean regularly, you can stay ahead of any potential issues that could cause serious damage down the line.

Congratulations to Phil Wood for retaining his position in Florida Trends' Most Influential Business Leaders for 2019 Florida 500 list!

As reported in the Naples News, three local executives fell off the list from last year. With criteria that includes leaders who "have the capacity to affect the character, development, or behavior" of the people and places around them, we are not surprised by our CEO's ability to earn continued recognition and this deserved accolade.
