With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Barry Dunleavy brings an exceptional blend of executive leadership, financial expertise, and personalized client service to every transaction.

Barry held senior executive positions overseeing real estate operations throughout Canada and Latin America, including serving as CEO of a Canadian-based bank. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Managing Director of Residential Construction Financing, working with some of the nation's largest residential homebuilders across the United States. His extensive business background, combined with a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA in Finance, provides clients with valuable insight into every aspect of buying and selling real estate.

Barry is a member of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®, Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Florida Realtors®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and is a Golf Certified Agent.

Giving back to the community has always been an important part of Barry's life. He volunteered with New Horizons of Southwest Florida, tutoring at-risk fifth-grade students in math and reading, while also serving as Co-Chair of the organization's annual golf tournament from 2015 through 2022. In 2014, he was honored as Collier County's Distinguished Volunteer. Barry served on the Board of Directors at Kensington Golf & Country Club from 2017 until 2026 and previously served on the Board of Governors of Hazeltine National Golf Club, host of the 2016 Ryder Cup.

Barry is also an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity, reflecting his long-standing commitment to strengthening the communities he serves. 

Having relocated three times himself, Barry understands both the excitement and challenges that come with moving, whether purchasing a primary residence or finding the perfect second home. His firsthand experience, financial expertise, and commitment to outstanding service help guide clients confidently through every step of the home buying and selling process.  Barry has been with John R Wood for 10 years servicing the Naples area working with USA and international buyers and sellers.
