Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Irene also lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, spending three years there as a child, before later making her home in Massachusetts and studying Human Resource Management at Clark University in Worcester. Before transitioning her full focus to residential real estate, she spent years as an accomplished corporate paralegal representing Fortune 500 enterprises and prominent law firms throughout Boston and Central Massachusetts. This extensive legal background instills every client relationship with deep procedural precision, master-class contract comprehension, and tenacious negotiation skills. Irene first launched her real estate career in 1988 in Central Massachusetts. Over decades of serving discerning coastal clientele, and transitioning to full-time practice in 2018, she established a reputation for uncompromising integrity and client care. Her track record of results earned her esteemed industry honors, including Top Producer and Excellence in Customer Service awards in 2020, followed by induction into the prestigious President’s Club in 2024. Drawn to the relaxed elegance and natural sanctuary of Southwest Florida, Irene obtained her Florida real estate license in 2023 and joined John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate at the Sanibel office. As a certified Luxury Property Specialist, she merges Christie’s worldwide prestige with deep local insight, helping clients navigate island transactions, waterfront second homes, and luxury investment portfolios. Complementing her technical market expertise, Irene brings an eye for aesthetic detail, with a passion for interior design and home staging that maximizes property presentation and buyer engagement.
