Captain Joe McNichols was born in Naples, graduated from Naples High School, and completed studies in Bird Biology from Cornell School of Ornithology. His passion for nature led him to become a United States Coast Guard Captain and professional fisherman and guide for Everglades National Park. Captain Joe McNichols was born in Naples, graduated from Naples High School, and completed studies in Bird Biology from Cornell School of Ornithology. His passion for nature led him to become a United States Coast Guard Captain and professional fisherman and guide for Everglades National Park. With a vast knowledge of Naples history, Joe became a teacher for the Collier County Schools system, educating adults on the Science of Fishing and was featured on five nationally broadcast fishing shows, most recently "Fishing with Mariko Izumi" on the Worldwide Fishing network. Joe's courteous and friendly demeanor gives him the ability to make sure his customers have fun in any situation, so transitioning to real estate was a natural fit. Joe has worked as a real estate professional with Beth for more than 20 years and is an expert in Naples, as he is also a general contractor, building and remodeling homes in Olde Naples. Joe not only knows Naples, but he is also a part of its musical culture. Residents and visitors will most likely see Joe performing in his band, "Capt. Joe and the Bottom Feeders."
