After spending 28 years in the sporting goods industry, John Salay is thrilled to join the Broad Avenue office of John R Wood Properties and work alongside his wife, fellow sales associate Kimberly Salay and new sales associate, Lindsay Umphred, to form The Salay Team.

At Spalding Sports, John attained and developed long-term partnerships with organizations like the NCAA, ACC, Big Ten and many other collegiate conferences and programs. He also established partnerships with many of the state high school athletic associations throughout the US. He has been inducted into the California High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, the Texas High School Athletic Association and the National High School Federation under the Distinguished Service Award.

John has made a career out of determining the needs and goals of his customers and helping them to achieve those benchmarks and he brings that same enthusiasm and drive to assisting buyers and sellers reach their real estate ambitions.

Originally from Ohio, he and his wife have been residents of Bonita Springs for the past 14 years. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Cleveland State University in Ohio. He and Kimberly love spending time with their four children, who are scattered throughout the country. They enjoy good wine and watching the sunsets on many of Southwest Florida's great beaches. John is also a former collegiate golfer who enjoys the many golf courses here in Florida.
