Canadian-born and globally connected, LeAne Suarez was first licensed in real estate in New Jersey in 1987 and became licensed in Florida in 1992. Today, she is a full-time Broker and Vice President with John R. Wood Christie's International Real Estate, specializing in luxury real estate across Sanibel, Captiva, South Seas and Southwest Florida. With more than three decades of experience, LeAne brings extensive knowledge of coastal and waterfront real estate, IRS 1031 exchanges, community association management, complex transactions, negotiation, valuation and strategic market positioning. Her experience is particularly rooted in the island communities of Sanibel and Captiva, where understanding the nuances of coastal ownership is an integral part of representing buyers and sellers. LeAne combines this local expertise with sophisticated global marketing. Her team utilizes multiple MLS networks, Zillow Showcase, Luxury Portfolio International®, targeted digital campaigns and the worldwide reach of Christie's International Real Estate to position properties before local, national and international audiences. A distinguished member of the Christie's International Real Estate Masters Circle, LeAne is part of a select network of high-performing luxury real estate specialists within the Christie's International Real Estate organization. At the heart of LeAne's business is the mother-son partnership she shares with Alec Suarez. A sixth-generation Floridian, Alec has been licensed in real estate since 2016 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from Florida State University in 2019, with a concentration in commercial real estate. Together, LeAne and Alec bring two generations of perspective to the LeAneSUAREZGroup, combining her decades of brokerage, negotiation and coastal-market experience with Alec's formal real estate education, local roots and next-generation approach to the business. LeAne's son Austin Suarez, also a sixth-generation Floridian and Realtor®, adds another dimension to the family's deep connection to Southwest Florida through his experience in construction.
