An endless schedule of community events is one of the many perks of calling the Paradise Coast home, and this January features a selection of events you won't want to miss. From elegant, fabulous wine festivals to good, old-fashioned seafood cookouts, there's a little bit of everything on the schedule.   1. Naples Wine Festival – Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort – 2600 Tiburon Dr., Naples, FL 34109 | January 24-26 Times Vary

    Entering its 20th year as one of the world's top charity wine festivals, the Naples Wine Festival is a luxurious, three-day event, with all proceeds going to the Naples Children & Education Foundation. There are auctions throughout the festival where you can pick up amazing wines from around the world, dinners with celebrity chefs, and tons of opportunities to sample world-class wine. The Wine Down event features live music from Grammy-winning performers, and the entire festival is loaded with luxury from start to finish. 

  2. Naples Veg Fest – Sugden Regional Park – 4284 Avalon Dr., Naples, FL 34112 | January 12 10 am - 4 pm

    It's easy to find healthy, fresh food close to Naples homes for sale, and Naples Veg Fest is the perfect place to experience that delicious dining scene in one convenient location. Veg Fest is all about sustainability, environmental consciousness, and the benefits of living a healthy, plant-based lifestyle. There's plenty of action-packed into this one-day festival, with expert speakers, scientific presentations, cooking demos for healthy meals, and live entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.

  3. Festival of Birds – Rookery Bay Research Reserve – 300 Tower Rd., Naples, FL 34113 | January 17-20 Times Vary

    The Paradise Coast is a fantastic place to call home for anyone who loves bird-watching, and the Festival of Birds is the perfect place to share your passion for birds with the community. While this festival is based at the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, its activities will take you to destinations throughout the Paradise Coast. 40 field trips are leaving from the Research Reserve, allowing you to explore countless species of birds in their natural habitats. The Research Reserve itself covers more than 110,000 acres, giving you plenty to explore after the festival.

  4. Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival – Centennial Park – 2000 W. 1st St., Fort Myers, FL 33901 | January 24 5 pm-10 pm & January 25 11 am-10 pm

    Immerse yourself in Celtic culture at the annual Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival, where you can dance, dine, and enjoy all of the best Irish beers close to Fort Myers homes for sale. Live music is a significant highlight of this festival, with a host of authentic Celtic bands taking the stage throughout the two-day event. Listen to the sweet sounds of bagpipes, drums, fiddles, and more while you dance the day away. There will also be plenty of vendors selling Celtic food, drink, crafts, relics, clothing, and so much more.

  5. Clam Jam – German-American Social Club – 2101 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL | January 25 10 am-7 pm & January 26 10 am-5 pm 

    Do you love fresh, local seafood and live entertainment? Then the annual Clam Jam is one event you won't want to miss. Located near Cape Coral homes for sale, this year's Clam Jam promises more of everything you've loved about previous events, packed into two delicious days. There will be more than 100 vendors offering a wide variety of goods, more of the amazing food that you expect from Clam Jam, and more educational seminars to help you create your own delicious dishes.

  6. Lovers Key Boat Show & Seafood Fest – Lovers Key State Park – 8700 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 | January 24-26 Friday & Saturday 9 am-5 pm Sunday 9 am-4 pm

    Whether you're looking to enjoy a plate of fresh, hot seafood, or scout out the latest boats so that you can catch your own, the Lovers Key Boat Show & Seafood Fest is sure to be a fun place to spend a day. Enjoy all of your favorite seafood prepared just about every way under the sun, try the best local beers at the beer tent, and shop for unique, nautical-themed items at the market.
