Where to Watch the Sunset in Naples

Naples Sunset

Everyone deserves the chance to see the sun set over the Gulf from Naples at least once, but it's even better when you can watch it every evening. Watching the explosion of colors over the glistening waters of the Gulf is simply something that you have to see to believe, and there is no shortage of great spots around Naples to enjoy the show. Our real estate agents know Naples, and we've got the details on 5 great spots to watch the sunset.

  1. Naples Pier – 25 12th Ave. South, Naples, FL 34102

If you're new to Naples or simply want to watch the sunset at the most popular spot, it's hard to top Naples Pier. Easy to reach from Naples homes for sale, Naples Pier provides beautiful, unobstructed views of the sky, with plenty to do before and after the sunset. There is ample parking available around the pier, a concession stand to grab a snack while you gaze at the sky, and an expansive beach perfect for enjoying a day by the water before the show starts at dusk.

  2. Clam Pass Park – 465 Seagate Dr., Naples, FL 34103

With access to one of the most popular stretches of beach in Naples, Clam Pass Park is a great place to set up shop before the sun sets. The pristine beach at Clam Pass Park is open year-round, and there's never a bad time to catch a sunset here. Just plan on arriving early, as the available parking often fills up fast. Be sure to grab your beach parking permit from City Hall, so that you can park without paying.

  3. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park – 11135 Gulf Shore Rd., Naples, FL 34108

Watching the sunset while you're on the water makes the experience even more special, and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is ideal for doing just that. Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, then watch the spectacular sunset as it reflects off the peaceful waters of the Gulf. This park features loads of other activities as well, including fishing, beautiful beaches, and some of the best bird-watching in Naples.

  4. Vanderbilt Beach Park – 280 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Naples, FL 3108

Located near some of the busiest tourist destinations in Naples, Vanderbilt Beach Park is ideal for anyone who enjoys watching a sunset with a crowd. Don't be surprised if a round of applause breaks out after nature's show is complete! There is a dedicated parking garage located close to Vanderbilt Beach, but parking fills up fast, so it's best to arrive early. With a sparkling stretch of beach and easy access to rentals for all the gear you'll need at the beach, you'll have no trouble enjoying a full day of fun in the sun.

  5. Lowdermilk Park – 1301 Gulf Shore Blvd. North, Naples, FL 34102

Looking for a park where you can entertain the kids before watching the sunset with the whole family? Lowdermilk Park features two playgrounds for kids, along with volleyball courts, picnic areas, and easy access to the beach. There are even gazebos available for rent, perfect for planning a sunset watch party. This is also one of the most popular spots in Naples for beach weddings, thanks to the beautiful views.
