John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate Opens New Cape Coral Office
CAPE CORAL, Fla. (July 29, 2025)—John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate has opened a new office at 4019 Del Prado Blvd. S. in Cape Coral, replacing the company’s former Cape Coral office. The new office is located along the Plato Canal with direct access to the Caloosahatchee River, with high visibility on one of the city’s busiest corridors. The 4,400-square-foot space features 14 private offices, multiple work areas for mobile agents, a large training room and a glass-enclosed conference room with waterfront views. The completely renovated interior makes extensive use of glass, creating a modern open atmosphere.
“This location reflects the energy and potential we see in Cape Coral,” said Corey McCloskey, president of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate. “It’s designed to support our agents at the highest level while providing a welcoming, professional environment for the community.”
The office continues to be served by Managing Broker Jay Richter and Administrative Broker Gary Mills, two tenured leaders in Cape Coral’s real estate market. The office also includes space for Island Palm Vacation Rentals, serving the Island Palm region which includes Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Pine Island.
Twenty-four agents are currently affiliated with the office, with additional capacity as the market continues to evolve.
The opening comes amidst varied opinions on Cape Coral’s real estate market. The latest data released by Florida Realtors shows the median sale price of Florida single-family homes was $415,000 in May, down 2.7 percent year over year. This trend reflects pricing corrections after a rapid post-pandemic surge driven by strong demand and limited inventory.
