CAPTIVA ISLAND, Fla. (January 14, 2025)—A milestone for luxury Captiva Island real estate was achieved on December 23 with the $9.675 million sale of a private residence located within South Seas Resort at 1119 Schefflera Ct. According to Southwest Florida MLS records as of 1/2/2025, the sale represents the highest-priced residential sale at the resort and the eighth highest on Captiva Island.John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate’s LeAne Suarez Group (LSG) listed and sold the property, and exposure through its global luxury marketing program resulted in a successful sale. The transaction was a collaborative effort by LSG, Estate Management Construction and Ashley Suarez, Esq. and partner with Roetzel & Andress.
The sale underscores the resilience of Captiva’s real estate market despite challenges posed by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which caused significant ground-level damage to the property. Known as Sosianna-SEArendipity, the residence was swiftly and expertly restored by Estate Management Construction, enabling all parties to conclude the record-breaking transaction.
