We contacted Joe Rivera, Jr of John R. Wood Properties via email regarding a real estate consultation. We had moved into Del Webb Naples in Ave Maria, Florida in January 2020 and spent time between Florida and our other home in beautiful Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. We decided it was time to move full-time to Mexico and fully retire! Joe contacted us immediately and scheduled a meeting with us at our home. At that meeting, Joe explained who he is and how he could assist us, listened to our needs, and ensured us he could help us every step of the way. He provided a personal and seamless interface even though we were in Mexico during most of the home sale process! Since we were out of the country, he was kind enough to check on our home periodically. His passion, commitment and drive really convinced us that Joe Rivera, Jr and the team at John R. Wood Properties was the realtor we wanted to represent us. We were thoroughly impressed with his non-stop communication with us. He deftly used text messages, voice messages, phone calls, Zoom meetings and emails to make sure we were always fully aware of where we stood in the home sale process. In addition, when scheduling a showing of our home, he always sought our approval first. We truly appreciated his communication style since our retirement was pending based on the sale and we needed to know when to submit the retirement documentation! Once we had an offer, Joe stepped us through the process all the way to closing. He was especially helpful with the inspection repairs, utility shutoffs, and suggestions for donating our houseful of furniture, clothing, appliances, etc (basically everything that wasn’t nailed down!). We cannot say enough great things about Joe. So, if you are NOT ready to sell your home, do not call Joe Rivera, Jr! This phenomenal man does not play around. His expertise, responsiveness, eagerness to go above and beyond, and professionalism are exemplary. His knowledge of the Ave Maria community, thoroughness and relationships with other realtors are unsurpassed! Within a few weeks Joe had sold our home.
