We first met Linda 12 years ago when she was involved in the purchase of our house in Florida. Being from the UK, we had no experience of the real estate market in the US but Linda helped us enormously in understanding what we needed to do and to make our purchase seamless. Due to that experience, we approached her for the sale of that property, and once again she was excellent in helping us. We had a tight window in trying to sell our property as we needed to return to the UK. However, our property was on the market for only 11 days when we sold it due to her input. We got the price we wanted and she made the whole experience pleasurable when at first we were very concerned. We would recommend Linda to anyone who needed to buy or sell a home.

Jane was fantastic! She guided us through the ins and outs of buying a condo (which was new to us) in Florida (again, new to us) and graciously and effectively managed the inevitable issues that arose through the process. "If the time ever comes that you decide to sell your property in Marbella Lakes, we want to give you some advice – talk to Mary Anastos. Also, if you or someone you know wants to buy property in Marbella Lakes we would like to give you the same advice – talk to Mary Anastos. Our story begins in April of 2019 when we finally decided to sell our property. We contacted Mary based on the advice of several current property owners. To make a long story short, our house was sold the following month in May at a very good price and the sale closed on July 3rd. Now, in retrospect, we think we have figured out her secret to success. She knows exactly what you need to do to fix up your property for sale, she can stage a house like a professional designer, and she knows where to find the buyers. And if you plan to sell your house as-is, she knows what to keep in the house and somehow all the other stuff disappears. And one other thing, we returned to Northern Virginia several days after we met with Mary for the first time in April 2019. And she handled everything that needed to get done in Naples and she kept us informed throughout the whole process. "When my husband and I decided to list our condo at Marbella Lakes for sale, we chose Mary Anastos as our listing agent. We had met her in the neighborhood walking our dogs. Having sold many homes over the years, we naïvely assumed that selling our condo in a beautiful, established, and desirable community would be a very quick and simple task. It was not very quick, nor was it simple! But with Mary at the helm, we truly never wavered in our faith that things would work out because that’s how Mary made us feel month after month! Her professionalism showed through with every follow-up phone call she made to us, even when delivering negative news about a showing that didn’t go well. A few months into our listing, Mary had a prospective buyer who she thought was making an offer on our unit. We were so excited to be selling! At the last minute as the offer was being written up, the prospective buyer decided to choose a unit other than ours. I’m sure it was a daunting task for Mary to call and tell us that, but she did so with a sincere apology and encouraging words asking us to not be discouraged, and assuring us that the right buyer was just around the corner. Some time went by, and another prospective buyer made an offer. After negotiations between both parties, they put down a deposit and signed the contract. My husband and I were ready to celebrate! At the 11th hour on the third day they exercised their right of rescission and backed out of the contract. As disappointed as we were, in hindsight I have no doubt that Mary felt the same way! She never showed that to us though and she continued to encourage us with positive thoughts in our every exchange. Fast forward a few months, and we again have a signed contract. It was then that Mary really went to work, as the buyers wanted a quick closing and my husband and I were in Rhode Island, with no intention of returning to Naples. I hope I am able to recall all of the little things that Mary dealt with on our behalf, which added up to much time and energy on her part. The handle on two of our toilets was stuck and not flushing properly so she removed the top of the toilet, diagnosed the problem, then purchased two flush valve seals, and replaced them herself. We had a service contract with an air-conditioning company and faithfully had our AC unit cleaned twice a year. Mary asked that we do it one last time before we closed. She checked the filter herself prior to the inspection and saw that apparently it was filthy. She removed it, cleaned it, and put it back. When I scheduled for the serviceman to come out for the final cleaning, Mary had to be there to let him in. He left without servicing the unit properly, so we had to schedule another appointment for another guy to come out, and of course, Mary had to be there. I think, all in all, it took three visits and countless phone calls to orchestrate a simple AC cleaning. Never once did Mary express anger or frustration with me that she was dealing with incompetence, but rather, she always put some comedic spin on the chaos as she handled it all while smiling. We hired cleaning ladies to come in and do a final cleaning of our unit, and Mary took the time to be present to oversee that items that needed tending to were addressed. Our hurricane shutters on the lanai had several screws missing, so Mary took it upon herself to search for the proper size screw and replace them. I’m certain I don’t even know all of the visits she made to our unit to execute this seemingly small task. The day before closing, in keeping with Mary‘s thoroughness, she checked the garage door opener one last time. Lo and behold, it wasn’t working. She assumed, as we all would, that it needed a new battery so she went about replacing it. After realizing the battery was not the problem, without even telling me she took it upon herself to go out and replace the garage door opener. I knew nothing of any of this until it was all handled and done. To say that my husband and I are incredibly pleased and impressed with the job that Mary has done is quite an understatement. When a property doesn’t sell immediately, it lends itself to lots of communication, and much discussion about price reduction and options for trying to sell. Through all our communications, whether on the phone, texting or email, Mary continued to show the utmost professionalism, and at the same time, always maintained a happy and positive outlook in every situation. I can't imagine anyone doing a better overall job than John. From the search process, to showing great patience, to listening to our needs and limitations, John was the best. This is our third buying/selling experience with John R Wood and agent John Robert and if we do this again we will only use John. You can 100% trust that he has your best interest always.

Blaze helped us sell a much loved second home in Naples, FL that an elderly uncle had enjoyed for 36 years. Blaze was respectful and understanding of the sentiment involved and walked us through the process of showing, selling and closing the property.
