"Mary, I do reviews very rarely (3 times in my life). I would be more than happy to, in your case. You are a remarkable person. Your efforts, diligence, tenacity, and energy have all greatly exceeded any expected reward on your part. Your personal work ethic is best described as highly unusual and impressive, especially in recent decades. For anyone who happens to read this. If you have chosen Mary Anastos to help you with your real estate interests, then you have indeed chosen well. If you want to take the time to read an events background, here is just a fraction of what Mary went through and helped with: We wanted to buy a property that was being used as a rental, and makes some improvements to it. There were a few minor difficulties, e.g. sprinkler system failure, that Mary knew exactly how to resolve quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. The real estate attorney's office, which Mary chose on our behalf, uncovered a serious title defect that was not detected in the prior sale. This unfolded just days before closing. The cure might take several months. Frustrated, we canceled work from contractors. Mary would not give up and kept asking questions, trying different ideas, etc. Finally, we told her to let it go and we would find another place. Mary found a place before it was put on the market. There were others that were also alerted to and interested in it. Mary pulled off the swiftest action we had ever seen and got our bid in before any others, and surprisingly, we don't what she did, it was immediately accepted. As usual, there were a few very minor 'issues'. Mary helped with resolutions that everyone felt comfortable with. A brief aside - It might be unwise to compete with Mary in a negotiation (joke) Ha! Then disaster struck. Again! A few days before closing, the seller died. The seller, however, had put the property into their trust. The two surviving co-trustees were in two states far away on both coasts. As a real estate agent, Mary was limited in what she could do with legal matters. Mary was not limited to building fires under people's butts! We were about to throw in the towel in the worst string of luck of our lives. The attorney estimated the odds of these happening at about one in five thousand or so. Mary persevered. One evening she called with more bad news about the co-trustees, who were dealing with the tragedy of the death of one's wife, and the other's mother. I lost it and even yelled at her. She kept her composure and convinced me to not give up. We had to keep rescheduling the contractor's start date. They were, to say the least, not pleased. We were not their only scheduled work. We suspect that they were close to canceling. A couple of days later she called with some good news. It was coming together and was going to be quickly settled. Even then there were mistakes made by other people that delayed it three more times, a day or two apart. We were (read this in red text) livid! Mary probably needs a new phone to replace the one that she was wearing out. Finally, we closed ... sort of. The seller's document package had not been picked up by FedEx for overnight delivery. Knowing that it was simply a matter of tracking the delivery, we went ahead and signed the final documents and handed over the final funds. The next day Mary called several times with updates because we kept expecting another disaster. All went well until she called and said, ... (she paused) ... "Closing is complete and you are now the legal owners!" This is lengthy and actually much was left out. Mary is the kind that will get down on their hands and knees for a closer look at something which doesn't look right. Mary is the kind that will find "good people" to work with you. It turns out that the contractors that Mary suggested are old fashioned good people that we feel good about contracting with. Okay. Okay. There is much much more, but by now you should get the idea. If you choose or chose Mary Anastos to help with your real estate interests, that is a very good choice.
